NCAA Sports for iPhone touts exclusive live video streaming
Turner Sports and NCAA Digital introduced NCAA Sports, a free application for Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone that delivers live streaming video coverage spanning the spectrum of collegiate athletics.

In addition to in-depth regular season coverage of marquee sports football and basketball, NCAA Sports boasts exclusive access to more than 60 championship events including Division II football, Divisions II and III wrestling, Divisions I, II and III field hockey, Divisions II and III men's and women's soccer and Divisions II and III women's volleyball. The NCAA Sports kickoff also includes live coverage of Division II football quarterfinal games on Dec. 3.
Turner-hosted NCAA.com is also rolling out a new mobile website optimized for touchscreen smartphones, promising live scores, schedules, news, rankings and video recaps.
Turner Sports and the National Collegiate Athletic Association jointly launched the multi-platform NCAA Digital initiative in Sept. 2010. The 14-year agreement encompasses the NCAA.com website along with efforts including the mobile web and mobile applications. Per terms of the partnership, Turner oversees editorial coverage as well as technological initiatives like live video streaming, stats, highlights and social media interactivity. In addition, the broadcaster manages ad sales across all NCAA digital platforms.
