NeoMedia president and CEO Jensen resigns
Mobile technologies and marketing developer NeoMedia today announced the resignation of president and CEO Charles Jensen. Founder and chairman Charles Fritz will take over as interim CEO.
Jensen joined NeoMedia at its 1995 inception as CFO, and was named president, COO and interim CEO in June 2002, succeeding Fritz. His appointment as CEO followed in September 2004.
In accordance with a revised mobile marketing strategy focused on the enhancement and launch of qode, its direct-to-mobile-web product suite, NeoMedia also announced a series of cost-cutting measures including salary reductions for all senior-level executives. The moves follow NeoMedia's recent divestitures of its Mobot and Sponge subsidiaries along with the sale of its micropaint repair unit.
