Nokia deploying DVB-H mobile TV in Vietnam
Nokia and Vietnam Multimedia Corp. have teamed up to bring DVB-H based mobile TV service to two Vietnamese cities by the end of the year. VTC, the country's national broadcaster, will provide content from its mobile PayTV service in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The service will consist of seven digital TV channels and various video-on-demand offerings, and will be available on Nokia's N-Series DVB-H phones-including the debut of the N92. They plan to expand the service nationwide over the course of the next two years.
