Nokia partners with Tanla for mobile payments
Mobile payments and license management services provider Tanla Solutions announced a five-year agreement with handset giant Nokia that promises to enable new application rights management and billing options. Per terms of the deal, Tanla`s License Manager mobile applications and software rights management solution--already installed on a hundred million Symbian based devices--will expand to additional platforms, enabling in-application billing, try before you buy, subscription and related business models. Tanla's Mobile Payment service will also enable on-device transactions. Tanla now enables transactions in 160 countries via mobile operator and credit card billing.
