Nokia signs mobile TV platform deal with Digita
Nokia has signed an agreement with Digita, a Finnish subsidiary of Telediffusion de France, for the world's first commercial DVB-H supply deal. Digita said it plans to cover 29 percent of the country's population by the end of the year. Finland recently granted Digita a DVB-H license. The companies did not release any financials for the deal. The announcement comes a day after Qualcomm announced its first victory over DVB-H with its MediaFLO mobile TV platform in Europe when BSkyB agreed to test the technology.
