Nokia, Streamezzo team for MyNseries
Nokia announced a partnership with rich media solutions and platforms provider Streamezzo to develop MyNseries, a new platform delivering rich multimedia applications to Nokia's N-series mobile devices. Streamezzo led design, development, delivery management, hosting and deployment of MyNseries, an S60 application created for the Symbian OS that enables multimedia services and Web 2.0 capabilities including Nokia news, community and user-generated content. It also enables music and video services, search and navigation apps, web browsing and an embedded podcast reader. Streamezzo's end-to-end technology platform also promises one-click synchronization enabling users to stay on top of new software updates and new content and multimedia services.
"Given the challenge of designing and developing a complete technology platform for Nokia's incredibly diverse global user base, we entered into this relationship with several key strategic goals," said Alain Blancquart, Streamezzo CEO. "Our engineers were chartered with creating the industry's most compelling and instinctive end-user experience, offering access to the broadest possible array of applications. And we knew we must design for a global and highly flexible technology environment, with ubiquitous and seamless access to the latest in Internet technologies."
