Nokia teams with America Movil for mobile email

Handset giant Nokia announced an agreement with Latin American operator America Movil to introduce mobile email services to subscribers in seven countries by the end of 2009. America Movil will debut the Nokia Messaging solution, which enables customers to aggregate and manage multiple email accounts in a single application--users can read, send, forward and reply to emails in real time as well as view subfolders, download and read attachments and attach files to messages. The service will launch across the Nokia E63, Nokia E71 Black, Nokia E72 and Nokia E75 devices. As of the first quarter of 2009, America Movil reported more than 186.6 million subscribers across the Americas.
