Nuance adds Expedia travel services to Dragon Go voice search app

Tools

Nuance Communications is integrating Expedia travel services to its Dragon Go voice-enabled search application for Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android, enabling consumers to more efficiently find vacation deals and book flights and hotels.

With the addition of Expedia, Dragon Go users can speak queries like "Available flights from Boston to San Francisco in March" to instantly see flight schedules and pricing, complete with the option to buy tickets directly from Expedia. Users can also say "Find 4-star hotels near me" to identify nearby lodging and corresponding Yelp reviews. Dragon Go also integrates OpenTable restaurant reservation bookings, Milo.com retailer data and Accuweather.com forecasts to further assist users when they're away from home.

The free Dragon Go application now features content from more than 200 partners in all, with Expedia joining the likes of Facebook, YouTube, ESPN, Fandango and Spotify.
