Opera: Mobile web page views grow 15.9% in July
Opera Mini mobile browser users viewed more than 3.7 billion pages in July--an average of 236 views per user, and a 15.9 percent month-over-month increase--according to Opera Software's latest State of the Mobile Web report. Opera Mini users generated more than 53.8 million MB of data during July, up 15.2 percent over June totals--15.8 million subscribers now surf the mobile web via Opera Mini, up 9.4 percent over the previous month. In the wake of Opera's recent partnership with operator Movistar Mexico, the report spotlights the Latin American market, where Google is now the number one mobile web destination--the top 10 also includes sites like Orkut, YouTube and Hotmail.
