Orange expands BBC World coverage
Another overseas operator, Orange, is also making news today following the announcement that it will extend its content distribution deal with broadcast news outlet BBC World to mobile phone viewers in eight countries. Orange rolled out BBC World content to the French market in 2004; the new agreement will deliver live news coverage to Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, Romania, Portugal, Jordan, Egypt and the Dominican Republic. The agreement will also include BBC World's new-media distribution channels for mobile, broadband and live streaming to PCs.
