Oxy adds more zing to phling!

Somehow, there's even more from CTIA: Mobile music and social networking service developer Oxy Systems debuted the latest version of its music service phling!. The revamped service includes the phling! Mobile Music Promotion Program, which enables independent record labels and artists to post free tracks for consumer download as a means to generate listener interest and receive feedback from subscribers via text messaging. Oxy Systems also supplies its content partners with statistical breakdowns analyzing subscriber listening habits, phling! usage and feedback.

In addition, the revamped phling! includes Internet radio capabilities via Oxy's new partnership with United DJs Radio, as well as improvements to the service's user interface. "We're obsessed with the user experience," said Oxy Systems VP of sales and business development Subrata Guha in an interview with FierceMobileContent. "That's what separates us from other mobile music services--we enable subscribers to access their music with a minimum of clicks."
