PayPal introduces Android application

Tools

Digital commerce solutions provider PayPal announced the launch of a new application optimized for Google's Android mobile operating system. Available now via the Android Market virtual storefront, the free PayPal app enables direct integration with contact lists, meaning users can select a name to transmit cash--the app also allows users to scroll through their recent payment history and check account balances. "And, of course, all your mobile payments are kept safe using the same start-of-the-art technology we use on paypal.com," writes PayPal mobile team member Eric Duprat on the PayPal Blog.
