Photobucket launches automatic video upload on T-Mobile G2

Tools

Image and video sharing solutions provider Photobucket introduced a new automatic video upload solution making its debut in the Android-based T-Mobile G2 with Google smartphone. Developed in association with T-Mobile USA, the automatic upload functionality transmits and backs up video content to the user's Photobucket account for easier sharing via the web, email, IM, Facebook and Twitter; videos can be set to automatically upload as a background operation over the T-Mobile network, and during the upload process, G2 users can continue to utilize other smartphone features and services. The G2 is the first smartphone optimized for T-Mobile's new HSPA+ network, and boasts an HD video camera for recording 720p high-definition videos along with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus.

Consumers upload more than 4 million images to Photobucket.com each day. Users may also search, browse, download and share photos from a repository spanning over 7 billion images.
