Player X partners with Amobee on ad-funded games
Mobile media firm Player X announced a partnership with mobile advertising solutions provider Amobee Media Systems to launch in-game advertising for its mobile games portfolio. The first ad-funded titles to launch include Sale of the Century, Strike it Lucky, Sensible Soccer Skillz, Space Invaders and ToCA Race Driver3. Consumers will be offered the decision whether to opt into the ad-funded games, earning a discount on the purchase price in return for viewing ads at the game launch, exit and between game levels. Per terms of the deal, Player X has also integrated Amobee's Handset Application Programming Interface into its games.
