Plusmo adds $4.41 million in Series A

Mobile widget service provider Plusmo raised $4.41 million in a Series A financing round led by New Enterprise Associates. Plusmo generated headlines last summer when the firm released 20,000 widgets optimized for Apple's iPhone--last month, Plusmo also announced widget support for the S60 mobile platform. The company adds more than 20,000 publishers have now "widgetized" their content for mobile via Plusmo tools, generating more than 15 million mobile pageviews each month across over 100 operator networks.
