Tools

Live mobile video streaming platform provider Qik has secured another $5.5 million in funding via Quest Venture Partners and CampVentures as well several unnamed investors, VentureBeat reports. Qik previously raised $4 million in funding from angel investors including Salesforce.com founder Mark Benioff and Netscape founder Mark Andreessen. The Qik platform enables users to stream video live from their mobile phones to the web--the service supports devices from Nokia, Research In Motion, HTC, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, among others.
