Qualcomm exec Yuen exits to join Zeebo

Wireless gaming platform developer Zeebo announced that former Qualcomm senior director of games and services Mike Yuen will join the firm as senior vice president of content and services. Yuen, formerly a member of the Zeebo board of directors, will now lead the company's global content and services strategy and head up developer relations. Yuen joined Qualcomm in June 2001 and played a significant role in the evolution of its BREW ecosystem--he previously served with Accolade (Atari), GTE Entertainment and Hammerhead Entertainment.

Zeebo's 3G wireless system promises digital entertainment, gaming and educational content for consumers in emerging markets, complete with over-the-air content delivery and UI system updates. The consumer connects the Zeebo unit to their television set and the system automatically connects to the ZeeboNet Wireless Network.
