Qualcomm scoops up GestureTek gesture recognition tools

Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) has acquired certain assets from gesture recognition technology developer GestureTek. Financial details were not disclosed. Qualcomm plans to integrate GestureTek solutions into its current and next-generation Snapdragon processors, enabling manufacturers to produce smartphones, tablets and other connected devices to support user interfaces based on natural human movement.
