Qualcomm steps to the plate for MLB deal
News from the BREW 2007 conference in sunny San Diego: event host Qualcomm announced a partnership with Major League Baseball Advanced Media to leverage the wireless technologies developer's new BREW BrandXtend Signature Solution to mobilize MLB.com content directly to consumers. As the first announced BrandXtend customer, MLB Advanced Media will employ the solution to offer baseball fans new access channels for the discovery and delivery of exclusive MLB.com mobile content. MLB Advanced Media and Qualcomm promised specifics of the service at a later date.
