BlackBerry App World 3.0 also rolls out new My World features, giving users a streamlined view of their apps and status. Users can view which apps are installed or uninstalled and manage subscription content/services. Enhanced app details screens tout feature summaries, screenshots, reviews and star ratings, as well as options for recommending favorite apps via BBM, Facebook, Twitter, email and SMS.

BlackBerry App World 3.0 is available for download from the BlackBerry Beta Zone. Its launch follows about a week after RIM introduced version 6 of its BlackBerry Messenger instant messaging application, touting a series of connected apps enabling new social interactions within mobile games and other user experiences. The first wave of BBM-connected applications is now live on BlackBerry App World; RIM said it expects many additional apps to roll out over the coming months.
