Rough Guides partners with Mobile Commerce for traveler apps

Location-based services provider Mobile Commerce is partnering with travel content provider Rough Guides for a series of premium traveler applications available for download via Nokia's (NYSE:NOK) Ovi Store. Optimized for Symbian^3 handsets, the apps tout in-depth information on over 200 destinations worldwide, with spotlights on hotels, nightclubs, restaurants, shopping and other can't-miss attractions. According to Rough Guides, consumers have purchased over 30 million of its travel and reference books since 1982, translating to one sale every 10 seconds.
