Samsung intros Mobile Explorer video contest for Olympics

Samsung Electronics America--earlier named the official worldwide Olympic partner for telecommunications equipment--announced it will partner with reigning women's halfpipe Olympic gold medalist Hannah Teter to introduce Mobile Explorer, a contest encouraging consumers to submit user-generated mobile video content and applications documenting their passion for social networking and their excitement over the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Contestants can submit their video applications online now through Jan. 8, 2010--Samsung USA will name 10 winners to serve as Mobile Explorers at the Vancouver games, where they will share their personal experiences through online blogs as well as video footage captured via Samsung Mythic mobile phones.
