Sequoia Capital invests $3M in iPhone app developer Bump
Bump Technologies, the startup responsible for the popular iPhone application Bump, has closed a $3 million financing round led by Sequoia Capital. While neither Bump Technologies nor Sequoia has yet confirmed the funding, TechCrunch reports that Bump was listed among 2009 investments featured on a Powerpoint slide during a recent presentation given by Sequoia Capital partner Greg McAdoo. The Bump app enables users to transfer data from one iPhone to another by literally bumping the two devices together.
