ShoZu debuts social networking client for BlackBerry

Mobile social media services provider ShoZu announced the debut of a new, integrated client optimized for Research In Motion's BlackBerry smartphone platform and available for download via the BlackBerry App World virtual storefront. According to ShoZu, the client enables two-way interactivity with a variety of social networking sites through one interface, allowing users to receive updates from multiple sites in one integrated spot on the handset. Users can read and reply to comments in real-time, update their status, upload images and video, and add tags, titles and descriptions. The ShoZu client also features tools to edit, add and remove destination sites to/from a user's account.

In addition to a free trial version, BlackBerry App World offers a premium version of the ShoZu client featuring unlimited photo and video uploads for $4.99 per month--for now, the service is available on all Curve, Pearl and Bold devices, with support for the Storm and Tour set to follow.
