Silverback, Puretracks team on mobile promotions

Mobile marketing advertising agency Silverback Media announced a three-year partnership with digital music provider Puretracks to offer a one-stop shop to firms seeking to incorporate digital music and mobile content into their consumer promotions. Per terms of the agreement, Puretracks will deliver ringtones, wallpapers and games to brands and retailers, with Silverback managing the mobile content portal--in addition to promotional campaigns, Puretracks will also make mobile content available for retail via private branded storefronts. "Due to the soaring popularity of both digital music and mobile content, digital entertainment promotions have become a powerful tool for brands looking to motivate consumers to act," said Puretracks CEO Alistair Mitchell in a prepared statement. "Now, through this partnership with Silverback Media, we can expand our promotional platform to include mobile content, giving our brand partners the complete digital solution they need."
