Tools

Digital radio solutions provider Slacker is expanding its streaming lineup with the addition of live ESPN sports programming, beginning tonight with coverage of college football's BCS Championship title game pitting No. 1 LSU versus No. 2 Alabama.

Slacker first added ESPN Radio content to its lineup in March 2011, enabling consumers to create personalized sports programming around SportsCenter updates as well as programs including Mike & Mike in the Morning and The Herd with Colin Cowherd. The expanded agreement brings live ESPN game coverage--although Slacker will offer the BCS title matchup for free over the web, future live ESPN broadcasts will be available via Slacker Radio Plus and Slacker Premium Radio.

Slacker Radio boasts more than 150 expert-programmed and interactive music stations, along with customizable stations, artist-hosted showcase stations and leading music festival stations. Slacker listeners also can create their own personalized radio stations featuring their favorite music, news and sports. Slacker Premium Radio additionally touts on-demand access to millions of songs.
