Smith Micro teams with LiveWire on mobile music

Wireless software and services developer Smith Micro Software announced an agreement to integrate its QuickLink Music client application into managed mobile personalization services provider LiveWire Mobile's full-track music service. According to Smith Micro, QuickLink Music enables consumers to automatically sync music between their PC and mobile devices from Samsung, Motorola, LG, Nokia, Sony Ericsson and other manufacturers. The QuickLink Music application manager feature-set has now been customized to support LiveWire's managed music service, enabling users to transfer music files to their phone as well as organize music libraries and create playlists via mobile handset.
