Social app directory Appolicious launches Android, Yahoo sites
Social application directory Appolicious introduced new websites enabling consumers to identify recommended Android smartphone software as well as branded Yahoo apps. Appolicious combines social networking, journalism and search technology to help users source and share relevant mobile and web applications--both the new AndroidApps.com and yap.appolicious.com feature Curated Lists, the app Library Builder, editorial reviews and consumer ratings. Earlier this year, Appolicious debuted a free iPhone application recommendation app incorporating ratings, reviews and comments from thousands of users across the Appolicious community--a similar Android app will launch in conjunction with AndroidApps.com.
Appolicious first partnered with Yahoo in April 2010--per terms of the companies' expanded collaboration, Yahoo.com and properties like Yahoo News and Yahoo Games will offer visitors Appolicious articles and reviews spanning iPhone, Android and Yahoo apps relevant to their particular areas of interest.
