Business 2.0 is running a piece that compares two recent studies of digital video recorder (DVR) users. DVR users nearly always skip commercials, but they also remember commercials just as much as non-DVR owners. Apparently, fast-forwarding through commercials requires more concentration since the user wants to make a hard stop right before the program comes back. Non-DVR users, of course, tend to flip through other channels or get up for a snack during the break. Blog
