Former FCC chairman Reed Hundt is using the iPhone to strengthen his argument that the United States needs a ubiquitous high speed network that should not belong to any one carrier. Of course, Hundt's got an agenda behind this argument. His company, Frontline Wireless LLC is planning to bid in the upcoming 700 Mhz auction and he wants some spectrum set aside for small players.
