SPOTLIGHT: Metrics, schmetrics
A recent Telephia report that ranked the top UK mobile TV shows apparently listed programs which are not yet available in the country, or limited to only one handset. According to the Telephia report, BBC1 is the top-viewed mobile TV channel at 33 percent, but that channel is only available on Virgin Mobile's Lobster phone, which just went on sale Oct. 1. It also listed BBC2, BBC3 and BBC4 as capturing 22 percent each, but none of those stations are available on mobile phones yet, according to ROK TV. To be fair, the article we're linking to below doesn't include Telephia's response to these charges, only a curious no-comment from the company's main competitor M:Metrics, so I'll be happy to print any explanation Telephia cares to provide.
