SPOTLIGHT: Nokia ruffles T-Mobile's feathers
Nokia's recent moves into mobile multimedia services have rankled T-Mobile--in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, T-Mobile International head Hamid Akhavan said the company will "not be happy" if the handset giant continues its present course. "I cannot say that we are very pleased with Nokia's direction," Akhavan said. "But Nokia has to sell its mobile phones and we assume that the company will want to continue its successful partnership with T-Mobile. That would mean a solution that also corresponds with our strategy of marketing data services."
