SPOTLIGHT: U.K. arm of MoCo firm fined, banned

Tools
U.K. regulatory body ICSTIS fined the U.K. arm of MoCo provider LaNetro Zed $44,000 and had its access to premium rate SMS taken away for three months. The company is appealing the fine and ban and is permitted to continue offering its service in the meantime. Allegedly, the company failed to accept the industry standard "stop" command to stop charging its customers for its subscription services. The company said the command is 100 percent effective, but also acknowledged they do attempt to collect funds after receiving the command, which makes little to no sense to me. Article
