E! is currently available to 98 million cable and satellite subscribers across the U.S. In addition to reality programming like Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spinoffs, the network is also home to series like The Soup, Chelsea Lately and Fashion Police.
The Sprint ID effort first launched in October 2010. Each free ID pack assembles applications, widgets, ringtones, wallpapers and related mobile content, all tied together under the umbrella of a specific brand or theme. In addition to E!, partners include ESPN, MTV and Yahoo. Sprint subscribers can upload up to five ID packs at any time.
"Sprint ID has become a good, thoughtful way to provide a different user experience," said Sprint vice president of consumer marketing David Owens in an interview with FierceMobileContent earlier this year. "Now that we have 50 percent of the population buying smartphones, we need to give them an easier path to accessing content."
