Sprint teams with NBC for multi-platform 'Heroes' series
Sprint and NBC announced the launch of a multi-platform digital series spinning off from the network's waning Heroes franchise. Beginning Sept. 28 and continuing for 10 consecutive weeks, an original Heroes story will unfold across the television, PC and mobile screens--a 30-second on-air scene will launch the effort, directing viewers to discover more about the characters by interacting with online games, stories, clues and mobile content. According to NBC, the campaign will include graphic novels for mobile handsets, interactive SMS synched to the network broadcast, one-minute online scenes featuring members of the Heroes cast, interactive storylines giving Sprint subscribers the clues to solve a mystery and a $25,000 sweepstakes.
