Sprint's NFL Mobile Live to simulcast pregame show
Sprint announced its NFL Mobile Live application will kick off the 2009-10 National Football League season by simulcasting the NFL Network's live telecast of the league's annual pregame celebration, airing at 8:00 pm EDT on Sept. 10 prior to the season-opening matchup pitting the Tennessee Titans against the defending champion Pittsburgh Steelers. This year's pregame showcase will feature performances by Tim McGraw and the Black Eyed Peas.
Like last year, NFL Mobile Live will feature live radio broadcasts of every regular-season NFL game from both the home and road teams' flagship stations, a 24/7 live telecast of NFL Network coverage, live telecasts of all eight NFL Network primetime games beginning Nov. 12, on-demand video highlights including Sprint "Can't-Miss Plays" fan voting, real-time text alerts, injury reports and breaking news. According to Sprint, NFL Mobile Live reached the 1 million download milestone quicker than any other application in the operator's history, and drives more usage than any other downloadable app it offers.
