Streamezzo acquires Kamayo

Mobile services provider Streamezzo announced its acquisition of mobile multimedia applications developer Kamayo. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. "Kamayo's team develops outstanding interactive services for broadcast as well as unicast networks," Streamezzo CEO Alain Blancquart said in a prepared statement. "The merger strengthens our leading position in the market, and enables us to respond to new challenges by leveraging Kamayo's remarkable experience and expertise. Streamezzo will become a key vendor in emerging markets like mobile TV and mobile."
