Streamezzo, Atos team for iPhone mobile TV app

Mobile software platform provider Streamezzo and electronic payments/transactions solutions provider Atos Worldline announced the joint development of an interactive live television application for Apple's iPhone. Promising mobile operators and broadcasters a ready-to-deploy mobile TV service optimized for the iPhone platform, the Streamezzo and Atos Worldline solution includes an embedded video player, channel grid and electronic program guide--carriers and content providers can customize the app's look and feel, as well as add enhanced services including fast channel switching, video-on-demand and personal video recording like live catch-up TV functionality. Streamezzo and Atos note that the application can also be reconfigured for platforms including Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Mobile.
