Study: Incentive-based ads OK

Close to a quarter of current mobile phone subscribers would accept ads on their mobile phones, if it meant that they would get free applications in return, according to a study by Harris Interactive. Only 7 percent said that they'd be interested in text message ads, even if they were relevant to their interests. Still, Harris analysts say that figure represents a "huge opportunity" when lined up against the 200 million mobile subscribers in the U.S.
