Supergirl flies onto Sprint handsets

Sprint announced it will partner with broadcast network The CW and its sibling Warner Bros. Television Group to debut a series of animated mobisodes spinning out of the primetime hit Smallville and spotlighting Superman's cousin Supergirl. The series follows on the heels of an earlier Sprint animated mobisode effort headlined by another DC Comics character, Green Arrow. "There are passionate fans who respond to content created just for them," said Alison Tarrant, The CW's senior vice president of integrated sales and marketing, in an interview with MediaWeek. "And they respond to the ad partner who sponsors it."
