AT&T All-America Player of the Week text voting returns
For the sixth consecutive year, AT&T will sponsor the interactive All-America Player of the Week campaign, encouraging college football fans to vote via text message for the previous weekend's top pigskin performer. Each week, a panel of ESPN analysts will select four finalists--the candidates will be revealed each Sunday morning on ESPN's SportsCenter, as well as via text message alerts and on the web. Fans have until 11:59 p.m. ET each Wednesday to submit their votes, with the winner announced at halftime of the Thursday ESPN College Football Primetime show. In addition, each viewer vote counts as one sweepstakes entry to win a trip to the 2010 BCS National Championship game in Pasadena, Calif.
AT&T subscribers also may sign up to receive free ticket offers from select college teams--the operator additionally will offer text alerts with game-day reminders as well as team statistics, updates and exclusive content. AT&T customers also can view video highlights of each week's candidates, check scores, track select teams and download school ringtones through the carrier's wireless NCAA Fan Zone, accessible on handsets equipped with the AT&T MEdia Net app.
