AT&T introduces JuiceCaster, Buzzwire

Tools

AT&T announced the launch of a pair of new applications: Mobile social networking service JuiceCaster and mobile media service Buzzwire. With the JuiceCaster 6.0 app, AT&T subscribers can instantly share and post mobile videos and photos to designated online communities including Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, complete with exclusive direct mobile postings to YouTube and Flickr. JuiceCaster users may also connect with friends from AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, MS Outlook and Yahoo and make new contacts within the JuiceCaster community, in addition to viewing, rating and commenting on their friends' content direct from their mobile device. JuiceCaster 6.0 is available for $2.99 to AT&T subscribers with compatible handsets.

Buzzwire meanwhile enables users to access and customize a streaming media library spanning more than 5,000 popular video and audio clips as well as live Internet radio. In addition to the daily Today's Buzz feature, which delivers a countdown of the 10 most popular video clips on the web, AT&T subscribers may create their own personal media channels and stream content to their phones with one click. Buzzwire also filters and formats all content to optimize consumption on mobile devices. The application is available for $4.99 per month via the AT&T MediaMall.
