T-Mobile USA adds Melodeo's Mobilcast service
Digital music service provider Melodeo announced its Mobilcast entertainment platform is now available via T-Mobile USA's Sidekick iD and Sidekick 3. Mobilcast promises on-demand access to 150,000 music and entertainment programs from sources including NPR, MSNBC and CNN for a monthly subscription fee of $3.99. According to Melodeo, its mobile entertainment services are now available to more than 50 million wireless customers in the U.S., with T-Mobile joining existing partners AT&T, Alltel and SunCom.

I just downloaded mobile cast for the sidekick 3 . 150,000 programs? Try 20 and they all suck. It's also the only program in the history of the sidekick that doesn't multitask. Some it quits halfway through the squatcast and doesn't bother to even try to resume. Not worth $4/month. Will probably remove it in 20days if I don't see improvment in content.

I, too, downloaded Mobilcast like an IDIOT....If they claim there are 150,000 programs, I'd like to know where they are. The content SUCKS. I'd pay more for MySpace mobile which is only $1.99/month with FULL FUNTIONALITY!!! I would not recommend anyone pay $4 bucks a month for this crap....stick to your iPod...

OMG I HATE the MOBILECAST for the SK3. Where are the 150,000 programs? 20 programs and you can barely hear sh**! It's not worth it and I removed the program right away. I'm sticking to my ipod....lol.

Whoa ya gotta be kidding me! 150,000 ha ha where's it at? I have a few selections and I can tell ya this much right now, how the hell is this worth 4 bucks a month. I have been quite pleases with the sidekick until now. This option unless it improves drastically quick is a nice money making scam! I mean come on what really is the point. The search feature is crap. Ya put in a title search and it doesn't do anything! I will give it a couple wks. No improvement and it is getting dropped like a bad habit!
