AOL's digital advertising unit Platform-A announced an agreement with T-Mobile USA to launch a billion-impression promotional campaign spotlighting the G1, the first handset powered by Google's Android mobile operating system. Dubbed the "T-Mobile Million Block," the two-day ad buy spans Nov. 10-11 and will stretch across a significant swath of AOL and related Platform-A digital inventory, promising to reach more than 90 percent of U.S. online consumers. Platform-A and T-Mobile USA estimate the 48-hour campaign will expose approximately 81.5 million consumers to the G1, which the operator launched in October.
