T-Mobile USA teams with Eric Clapton for limited-edition myTouch

T-Mobile USA announced an agreement with rock legend Eric Clapton to release a limited-edition myTouch smartphone featuring a sunburst finish inspired by Fender guitars. According to T-Mobile, the myTouch will ship with preloaded Clapton tracks including "Layla," "Wonderful Tonight" and "My Father's Eyes" as well as content from artists Wyclef Jean,  Avril Lavigne and Brad Paisley--in addition, the device includes an HTC-developed music player that allows users to touch the album art to toggle between views or change a song or album. The music player also enables users to create ringtones as songs are playing. T-Mobile USA adds that the myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition introduces a customized multimedia sync solution created in partnership with startup doubleTwist.
