AT&T signs sponsorship deal with Major League Soccer
AT&T announced an agreement with Major League Soccer and the U.S. Soccer Federation to become the official communications sponsor of MLS and the U.S. Men's and Women's National teams, a deal that also promises to yield exclusive soccer-themed content across mobile handsets, televisions and PCs. Per terms of the multi-year agreement, AT&T also becomes the title sponsor of the AT&T MLS All-Star Game. The operator notes it will deliver behind-the-scenes content like post-game highlights, player profiles and interviews, goal footage and more to AT&T U-Verse TV, AT&T MediaNet and CV mobile video subscribers--plans also call for an SMS fan platform and MLS WAP page.
