AT&T teams with LG for new mobile TV device
AT&T (NYSE:T) and LG Electronics announced the June 6 retail launch of the LG Vu Plus, the operator's latest AT&T Mobile TV-enabled device. Promising access to full-length live and time-shifted content from FLO TV for $9.99 per month, the Vu Plus is compatible with AT&T's HSPA 7.2 Mbps technology and boasts a touchscreen with four-line QWERTY keyboard, enhanced user interface and the AT&T Social Net social networking aggregator application. Subscribers can also sign up for the AT&T Navigator turn-by-turn service for $9.99 per month. The LG Vu Plus will be available at AT&T for $149.99 after $50 mail-in rebate.
