AT&T works out GPS-enabled exercise app

Tools

AT&T and GPS-on-cellular applications developer Trimble Outdoors announced the launch of AllSport GPS, a new mobile application enabling subscribers to track their exercise activity via select handsets. AllSport GPS monitors time, speed, calories burned and distance traveled during outdoor workouts--users may store workouts to monitor progress, view weekly activity logs, map favorite routes and share activities with friends. Mobile access to the Trimble Outdoors website also offers an online library of professional and user-generated trips, routes recommended by others, topographic and aerial-view maps, and related features. AllSport GPS is available now on select GPS-enabled AT&T handsets for $5.99 per month.
