Telcogames acquires Viva La Mobile

Mobile games publisher and distributor Telcogames announced its acquisition of Australian multiplayer games developer Viva La Mobile. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Viva La Mobile's proprietary Redstar multiplayer platform is presently live via operators including Telstra, 3 Australia and Smartone Vodafone Hong Kong--in addition to multiplayer services, the platform enables payment models including pay-per-play billing, free gameplay and subscriptions. Other Redstar features include chat, high scores, international leaderboards and tournaments. In September, Telcogames will launch Viva multiplayer titles on the Orange Israel network.
