Telephia clarifies mobile TV metrics flap

After having its data on mobile TV challenged in the U.K. press, Telephia has issued a clarification about how it defines mobile TV/video, but is standing by its numbers. The research firm says its findings included not just mobile TV, but all formats of mobile video that included content from BBC and Sky programming.

"The channel findings quoted (in) the press release should be interpreted in the context of all mobile video platforms--video clip downloads, video streaming applications and video served from WAP sites," the company explained.
